Jacky Cheung to sing theme song for "72 Tenants"

"Yan Chai Charity Star Night 2010" will be held this Saturday. Guests who were invited to attend include Joey Yung, Julian Cheung, Big 4, Stephy Tang and Ivana Wong etc. Susan Tse will be performing a Thai dance whilst Lisa S and Rin K et al will be having a game of soccer in mini skirt. Since the 4 big record companies haven't sorted their problem out with TVB, none of their singers were invited to attend the charity show. Producer Chin Kwok Wai pointed out that the guest list was finalized two months ago. Nevertheless, he is still hoping the problem between TVB and the record companies can be resolved soon. Chin, also the producer for TVB new movie "72 tenants" special program to be broadcast on Chinese New Year's eve denied the rumor that Jacky Cheung was unable to record the theme song for "72 tenants" because of the on going saga. Chin stated that "The song will still be sung by Jacky Cheung because it is the theme song, but he won't be singing it at the New Year's Eve special charity show."

The New Year's eve special will commence its recording as from today at the Shaw Studio. The company has organized 15 tables to treat the cast for a banquet feast; Anita Yuen, Bosco Wong, Cholam Wong, Linda Chung and Eric Tsang will be attending.

Joey Yung becomes a black Miffy bunny

Joey Yung will be releasing her new EP at the end of the month. Joey has always liked Miffy the bunny and this time she has created a "Black Bunny Girl" look image for herself. Her face, arms and legs were all covered in black make-up.

Joey has been in the industry for 10 years and she has created 9 different images for her new EP "Joey Ten". Each image is very detailed and creative. Joey said "Miffy is a white bunny. We discussed about it and I suggested to paint myself black. I have tried many different images within the last 10 years and this time I want to be brave and try something different.

On the day of becoming a "Black Bunny Girl", Joey's face, arms, legs and neck areas were covered in black make-up. She said "This make-up will not make your skin sensitive. It's all real and not done by computer effects. I will also wear Black fury clothing and wear Bunny ears. The outcome is very shocking". Joey used about half an hour to 45 minutes to cover herself black.

She realized washing off the black make-up was very complicated. She said "I thought when the make-up was removed everything would be clean. However when I got home I realized my nails, toe nails, ears and nostrils still had black marks. I had to immediately remove it again. It took about 4 washes before everything came off. But I am very satisfied with the outcome. As well as having 9 different images for the EP cover, a Joey Ten Boxset will also be released that will contain Joey's personal photos, a manga book and Image photo collection.

Playboy Jacky Wu promised wife a blank check upon surgery recovery

A blank check seems to be popular Taiwanese host Jacky Wu's doting message to his wife after he gave her a gold credit card that has no cap limit.

Chang Wei-wei had undergone surgery to remove her breast tumors last month and is now on the road to recovery.

During the studio recording for his hit variety show Guess Guess Guess, Jacky laughed, "After this incident, she's been wondering why save so much money, that's why recently I've received an endless number of bills."

Since the operation, the millionaire celebrity has spent more time with his wife, and has gotten her all sorts of nourishment and tonics.

"I've felt more stress recently, but life is not without obstacles. The bigger the obstacle, the more satisfaction I feel when I overcome it."

Jacky, who only revealed in 2000 that he has a family, is seen by the media as a loving husband, and added that it's his duty to take care of his family.

In 2001 and 2005 respectively, he invested heavily in his wife's failed Lemongrass Hotpot and spa businesses. Last May, he got her a NT$3 million (S$131,000) Jaguar car for her 47th birthday.

This time, he has publicly declared that she's the one he loves most.

MBLAQ’s Thunder stinks – gets a new nickname

It seems that MBLAQ Thunder, known for his good looks, had recently gotten himself a new nickname ’smelly-dol’?.

This was during the recent filming of MBC Every1 Idol Season 5, when talent Kang YeBin had "exposed" Thunder saying that he smells, giving him his new nickname.

The episode that day was an enjoyable date with MBLAQ for the female MCs Shin BongSeon, Jung Juri and guest appearance Kim NaYeong, Kim SaeRom and Kang YeBin.

But the problem comes when it was the time for the game of selecting partners. There was a female guest appearance who said that she would choose the MBLAQ member with the best smell, and Kang YeBin said, "Thunder’s feet smells".

Thunder was seen a little flustered and did not know what to say, and then the other female guest appearances have saved the situation by saying that it was cute of Thunder.

Meanwhile, Thunder showed off his baby-like skin as requested by one of the noonas on the show.

The show is set to air on 6th January.

Oguri Shun and Yamada Yuu’s pre-wedding Hawaii vacation

Actor Oguri Shun and model Yamada Yuu, who have been in a relationship for quite a while now have left for a pre-marriage journey to Hawaii during the night of January 4th. 15 Minutes before their scheduled flight at 9.45 in the evening, Yamada had been seen passing through the boarding gates. Hiding behind dark sun glasses it was the gleaming ring shining on her left ring finger. When being asked, what their plans had been for Hawaii, either of the two hardly answered and just commented laughing "We'd just like to enjoy our time there."

Five minutes later, Oguri had also been spotted. During interviews he usually only looked down and said "We just want to relax a little. After all it is a journey with our family". Hence, Oguri's family could also be seen around the two at that time.

As for the questions, if they were to marry this year Oguri said "That's not our plan." Despite the clear negation, the two of them wear the golden necklaces, representing the bond between them. According to friends and people around them, however, both of them would like to marry quickly; therefore a sudden arrangement might be possible.
