"King of Comedy 2" looking for new casts!

Stephen Chow's "King Od Comedy II" held its open recruitment for actors and actresses in Tsim Sha Tsui yesterday. It attracted over 200 applicants. The interview process started at 2pm, but as early as 10am, people were already lining up the street.

Some men disguised as females and others dressed up as past famous actors and actresses such as Bruce Lee and Cecilia Cheung. One guy even put on uncle MacDonald costumes. One family (three generations) came to the event specially from Macau. 54 year old Ms Law came with her 20 year old son and her 4 year old granddaughter. Ms Law dressed up as "Goddess of Mercy". She intended to preach the teaching of Buddha as well as supporting her son Lee Ka Ho who loves acting. Lee works in the casino and he was going to dress up as a girl for the interview. He said he has the advantage because he works in a casino. He is an expert to make people laugh and he is also beautiful when he put his make up on.

29 year old Andy dressed up as Bruce Lee, he was demonstrating "kung fu" to show off. He told reporter "Bruce and I have one thing in common. He was born in the 40s and I was born in the 80s. We both have a "0" in common. My name has a "wood" (木) in it and Bruce's surname also has a "wood" in it.

Liz Ma who had appeared in "Beautiful Cooking" before couldn't make up her mind. One minute she wanted to dress up as Cecilia Cheung, but then she changed her mind, wanting to be Chibi Maruko Chan's Cherry. At the end, she freaked out. She later told the reporter that she felt there were very strong contestants out there that she didn't have to the courage to go ahead and had to pull out.
