This article seems to be referring to Show's earlier trip to NYC in April 2009, where he went to take general dance classes. That was when he stayed there for about two weeks. His trip to NYC for the new album and MV did not actually last for two weeks, so I'm assuming that this article make a little mistake and referred back to his earlier NYC trip, and not the most recent one.
