The Ford Supermodel of the World Malaysia 2009 has been given the extra glam touch with RAFFLESIA Pearl Centre's sponsorship package of RM166,000 worth of jewelry for the grand finals on Saturday.
"Jewelry is a model’s best friend," enthused Winnie Sin, the director of RAFFLESIA during a preview of the brand’s exquisite jewelry designs for the competition.
"On top of good height and good looks, a good model must know how to carry his or her jewelry well."
Sin also hinted at the possibility of hiring the winning models from the show for RAFFLESIA’s future events.
"Amber Chia and I haven’t discussed it yet. But I’m happy to support her in whichever way I can because we’ve been friends for a long time."
The winning male and female model will walk away with RM50,000 worth of jewelry collection each. While the first runner-ups will be given a set of RM20,000 each, the second runner-ups will get a set of RM10,000 each.
